In the cellars of Fontaillade, winemaking skills are key to quality wines. Despite its 105 years (a long time for a wine cooperative), Fontaillade, in the heart of Brue Auriac, has been making discreet but elegant wines that are regularly honored.
The sparkling rosé "Les Bulles de Brue" is made using the traditional Champagne method and is enjoyed as an aperitif or with dessert. The winery also offers several local products produced by its co-operators such as honey and olive oil.
To cope with rising gasoline prices, the cooperative decided to produce its own bio fuel from rapeseed for its tractors and harvesting machines.
