In Puget-sur-Argens, Château de Cabran honours this former Roman soldier who, two thousand years ago, planted the first vines in this land of volcanic origin, caressed by the sun and wind. Ancestral property of one of the oldest families in the Var and it produces wines of character, elegance and complexity. It is very popular with the many regulars who regularly visit this corner of the world to fill their cellar with its beautiful bottles.
Besides de house wines, Château de Cabran’s cellar offers another nectar of Provence: the olive oil of Moulin de Callas, fruit of the expertise of the Bérenguier family.
All of Château Cabran’s bottles display two coats of arms side by side. They are those of Jean-Louis and Christiane who have revived the domains nearly forty years ago. They belong to two old Var families: the Gouz de Saint-Seine and the Monzat de Surrel de Saint-Julien.
