"A hidden life is a happy life." This seems to be the motto of Château de Font Vive. Born in 1991, it has made its way into the Bandol appellation without any advertising, website, or social media. Château de Font Vive owes its success to nothing but the quality of its wine.
For Philippe Barthès, "Bandol is a secret to be shared." Therefore, the winegrower welcomes the curious, who might have discovered this unique cuvee during a meal with friends and wants to know its fabrication secret. The master of Château de Font Vive awaits you at the door of his cellar, facing the Gros Cerveau Mountain. Start your GPS!
Font vive refers to a locality in Évenos. It’s where Philippe Barthès acquired his first 3.80 hectares of vines, cultivated only in rosé. Today, Château de Font Vive also makes red and white wines, and all its colours are on the menus of the finest Parisian brasseries.
