In 1994, Château de l’Aumérade opened the door to a remarkable museum of “Santons”- those clay figurines that depict the people, traditional trades, activities and costumes of Provence – fruit of the passion of Henri Fabre Junior. This exceptional private collection offers to discover some 1,800 figurines, dating from the 18th century to the present. A sumptuous ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for seminars, corporate meetings, weddings and other private receptions.
In 1594, Henri IV ordered the Duke of Sully to plant in Aumérade the first mulberry tree in France, which was classified as historical monument in 1931.
