German-born Tanja and Klaus, a couple with a passion for Provence wines, fell in love with Château Gasqui as well as its pioneering character. For fifteen years now, before they arrived, this centuries-old estate has been producing biodynamic wine where a natural approach is the philosophy.
With organic farming, vineyard supervision, and grass growing between rows, everything is done to respect nature and encourage biodiversity. Here, birds, butterflies and even foxes in the distance are at ease, while enthusiasts of organic wines can sip their glass in the shade of the terrace, overlooking nature.
The hosts tell us, without revealing all their secrets, how biodynamic preparations, "send signals to the vines to produce exceptional wines". They guide us on a tour of the semi-underground cellar, following the path the grapes take. We can enjoy the results of their work in a country-style cellar reflecting the authenticity of the place.
