Located on the limestone clay slopes of La Cadiere d'Azur, this little corner of nature meets all the features to make good wine from Provence, in the cradle of Mourvèdre. The tone is clearly red in this domain renowned for decades.
Here simplicity reins. The visitor is greeted at the bar, at the entrance of the cellar built in 1962 and that has remained "in its own juice." This gives this tasting place a certain charm, in agreement with the contents of his glass: an authentic and real wine.
Let's talk about Clairette. This is one of the oldest southern grape varieties. Known to be vigorous and fertile, it thrives in chalky and dry soils like those of Château Jean-Pierre Gaussen. With a particularly juicy flesh, Clairette gives off aromas of fennel, lime, apple, apricot and peach.
