In 2011, after renovating its tasting room, Château La Coste opened its Art Center, an exhibition place of quality, dedicated to contemporary art. The outdoor theatre is also part of this dynamic wine tourism.

Original and unusual

Jean Nouvel designed the symbols of the Château La Coste’s renewal: the two winemaking buildings, half cylinders of glass and steel. The star of the French architecture has created a nice container for sacred contents of brand new equipment, a production line designed right up to bottling process, for optimal quality. But Nouvel is not the only Pritzker Prize (the Nobel of architecture) to have worked in La Coste: the renowned American-Canadian architect, Frank Gehry has designed the outdoor theatre!
