This domain produces great reds in the land of rosés. It’s a large farmhouse, lovingly restored, surrounded by lush countryside. Nestled between sea and mountains, in historic Provence, the Château Saint Baillon spans over 200 hectares of wooded hills, vineyards and orchards.
Over more than half of the vineyard, we note the presence of blue marl in the subsoil, which gives great personality to the wines from this terroir.
Some remains have established the presence of a Roman city on the Saint-Baillon site. It dates from the third century AD; in high likelihood, vines and olive trees were already cultivated here.
