In Coudoux, Château Saint Hilaire makes organic wines with passion and love of the land. This domain lives the wine with affability, making the most of its 60 hectares on a terroir cultivated for two generations by the Lapierre family. Its rosés and whites are gourmand. Its reds are chastened by years of aging.

Château Saint Hilaire moved in 2014 in an exceptional building, built in recent years between vineyards and olive groves, in the heart of the farm. Tastings, visits of the winery and wine tourism animations now occupy an important place in the Château’s life. A schedule to follow throughout the year ... The new generation of the Lapierre family also opens the premises to events: two rooms of 300 m2 and 100 m2, as well as a large 1500-m_ park, are offered for rental.

Original and unusual

Don’t miss the visit to the oil mill in the village centre of Coudoux! This mill perpetuates a method of making old on presses from 1902. The process used, grinding on stone and pressing with scourtin (a plant fibre pocket acting as a filter, a method used since antiquity), yields oil with " black fruitiness "of incomparable taste.
