More than a vineyard, the Domaine Château Saint Roux is an invitation to return to the roots. Its 40 hectares of vines and 2 hectares of olive trees, in conversion to organic, are at the heart of the fifteen-century farmhouse, and part of a vast 120 hectares of land. You have to see it to believe it!

The ambition of Château Saint Roux is clearly to become a place where you come to taste wine, but also enjoy a quiet day with family or friends. It’s a getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern life. In the shop, you can buy products grown and processed on site (vegetables, cheeses and yoghurts) while exchanging with the gardener, the cheese maker or even the oenologist.

Original and unusual

By the way, why ‘Roux’? Here again, the answer comes from the red-orange colour of Saint Roux’s soil, largely composed of a stone rich in iron, called rubine, where the vine plunges its roots to give birth to wines with unique aromas.
