Presentation

Since 1966, Domaine de Cantarelle has become one of the largest private wine estates in the Coteaux Varois in Provence appellation. In the heart of green Provence, nestling in a natural setting with a 360° view over the surrounding hills, explore the 165-hectare vineyard along the vine trail and discover their wines in the 3 colours and their Provence gin at the cellar door!

Extra

Since July 2019, the Domain has built a true craft distillery equipped with a Charentais pot still that produces Cantarelle Gin de Provence, a gin made with Provence grapes and 100% natural aromas. It is possible to visit the distillery.

Original and unusual

The dovecote built in Brue-Auriac by Roux de Corse at the end of the 18th century is the largest in France, and probably in Europe. Since 1791, its completion date, no other has reached its dimensions: 23 metres high and about 13 metres in diameter. Fallen into disuse, it was restored in the ‘90s. Since, the town has even received the Diploma from the Guinness Book of Records for “the biggest dovecote in Europe built around 1750".
