You’ll find here breathtaking landscapes and quality wines typical of the Esterel terroir. A ‘bouverie’ is a barn dedicated to cattle. But the Domaine de la Bouverie, in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, hasn’t accepted ruminants for a very long time. Today it has become a reference in Provence for its excellent wine, as evidenced by the many awards gleaned from competitions and guides by the Laponche couple.

Once the farm animals’ den, the classified old barn is now restored and converted into a reception hall in order to organize all types of events.

Original and unusual

This place was well known to the Romans, first for the Colerousse source that feeds La Bouverie, then for its cattle that were served, as a starter, to lions at the circus games that were held in Frejus arenas.
