Here, the earth, the sun and the passion of the owners contribute to nourish beautiful wines. Between Pierrefeu and Collobrières, the Portanière lies at the heart of the Maures forest. In a century and a half of existence, this quiet domain has embraced many vocations, with the plantation of olive trees, fruit trees and vines. And, for several years, through the installation of a cellar in the former silkworm nursery, the new owners are making wine, and a good one at that.

The estate features a one-hectare orchard with eight different varieties of apple trees. Their alliance gives juices full of flavour, originality and naturalness. Discover also the house olive oil: it is fiery, very aromatic with a spicy finish.

Original and unusual

A small stream crosses Domaine de la Portanière: the Real Collobrier. Regularly, visitors wishing to establish a while along its banks seek the Blancard family. However, they’re not fishermen, but miners: the river contains some gold dust! This is not the Klondike, but enough for enthusiasts to have a good time dreaming of the golden age, sieve in hand.
