This family with winemaking tradition benefits from a generous terroir in the quiet hamlet of Grimaux. Since he took over, Jean-Christophe Giraud has at heart to develop his Domaine de la Tourre to take full advantage of the innate qualities of his land.
After a visit to Domaine de la Tourre, give a little of your time to Grimaud. Close to the vineyards, the medieval village will surprise you with its picturesque and tranquillity. Stroll to the castle that dominates the site. In passing, note the street names that are so typical of Provence.
The Charlemagne cuvee, the flagship of the domain, owes nothing to the Emperor. No, it is a tribute to Jean-Christophe’s ancestor: Giraud Charlemagne, the man who in the late nineteenth century, has led the family in the wine adventure.
