It is an “organic” domain led with courage and passion by its owner. Bernard Scarone was not even twenty when he took over the reins of the family estate. The beginnings were difficult, but a quarter century later he has realized his first ambitions: those of living of his land by producing wines full of natural and heat.

Bernard Scarone wanted his labels to bear the name of the domain and the colour of wine in Braille.

Original and unusual

Domain du Revaou, we could imagine, derives from the word "rêve" (dream), that of Joseph Scarone who cleared this part of the Borrels valley over a century ago.  Or that of Bernard who, over a century later, embarked on the wine adventure with a few hectares of vineyards and a brand new graduation for only luggage. But actually the reality is much more simple and pragmatic: the property borrowed its name to the small river that runs through it.
