The birth of a new estate is always good news, especially when the story of the couple behind it is strong and promises a bright future. After growing up in a family of winegrowers, Stéphanie Baudisson and Florent Lerda have pooled their land to give a new impetus to this estate created by their forefathers.
Its accessibility and conviviality are the assets on which the domain builds its image. Soon to be converted to organic farming, the Saint Cassien estate offers one cuvée per colour, and "Joseph", a red wine for ageing, is already much appreciated by wine lovers for its robust and woody character.
A former 11th-century monastery houses the estate’s cellar, where authenticity and simplicity meet. In front of it stands a magnificent several hundred years old plane tree, the witness of memorable family celebrations. Stéphanie and Florent chose it for their emblem of the Saint Cassien estate.
