Presentation

Since 1924, the cooperative winery of Rognes has been sharing with us the passion of its winemakers and offers sunny wines, very aromatic with lots of freshness. The winery was updated in 2012 for greater production, and in 2013, a wine shop. Recently it has also added the, Hostellerie des Vins de Rognes. This desire for change helps to face the future by offering wines from Domaines, Châteaux, Clos, and organic wines, which enhance the quality and typical of Rognes’ wines

The new cooperative winery of Rognes is an important production tool: vinifying the contributions of more than 550 hectares of vineyards; it produces almost 15% of the appellation Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. The new Cave Cooperative is an appropriate response to the production of a product undergoing accelerated evolution.

Original and unusual

The construction of the new winery, with its impressive dimensions, is also a record. The last major cooperative winery built in the area was that of La Fare Les Oliviers. That was in 1930.
