Since 1911, this century-old winery doesn’t lack vigour. Until recently, the Vignerons du Luc were selling almost all of their wine production in bulk. Some of them thought that, seen their terroir and technical mastery, there was probably more to do; and so they did, in a beautiful way. Today the cellar exploits 865 acres of vineyards in "Coeur du Var".
The cooperative’s beautiful cellar offers local produce and olive oils, natural fruit juices, winemaking accessories and gift boxes.
Caladoc is one of the grape varieties of the Vignerons du Luc. This hybrid of Grenache and Malbec was created in the late 50s and is now found throughout France. The Var department is not its favourite land, yet the cooperative draws many beautiful things from this grape; it has shown originality by using it exclusively for rosés. According to the winemakers, the result is excellent, “Caladoc enhances rosés. It gives them flexibility, roundness and structure.”
