The headquarters of the AOC Bandol promotion association also double as its showcase in the summer, with a tasting room open to the public. At the entrance of Le Castellet, La Maison des Vins de Bandol is located in the heart of the vineyards. Gateway to the prestigious appellation, it is one of the steps required to any wine lover.

Original and unusual

Bandol owes much to its wines. Its port was developed to facilitate their exportation as they always had the ability to travel well. Deep-water trenches were dug to allow large ships to approach this Provencal land with ease. The wines’ reputation and the development of maritime trade did the rest.
